At Helenanautic, we organise private birthday celebrations on board our boats in Benalmádena, designed so that you can decide how, when and with whom to enjoy that special day.
Whether it’s an 18th or a 40th birthday, hiring a private boat gives you something that no restaurant or venue can offer: the whole sea to yourselves, an all-you-can-drink bar with beer, sangria and white wine included, and the whole deck at your disposal to dance to your favourite songs with the Costa del Sol as a backdrop. No sharing space with anyone, no set timetables and no one to tell you to turn the volume down.

Helena is our most affordable option for celebrating a birthday on a boat, without having to compromise on anything important. It is an inboard vessel 10 metres long and 3 metres wide, with a 250 CV engine, designed to sail steadily at a comfortable cruising speed for the whole group.

One of the things our customers value most is the freedom to create their own itinerary. When you hire the boat for your birthday, you can book it by the hour – from 1 to 6 hours of sailing – and within that time you decide what to do at every moment: go for a swim wherever you fancy, stop for a spot of snorkelling, have a go at stand-up paddleboarding, play your favourite music, or simply lie back in the sun and take it easy.
There’s no set script. The crew, consisting of the skipper and a deckhand, are on board to ensure safety and navigation, but it’s up to you to decide how to celebrate. This means that every birthday is different depending on the group: some prefer a quiet day of sunbathing and swimming, whilst others want the music to play from the moment they step onto the boat until they return to port.
The maximum capacity is 12 people, making it ideal for hosting both intimate celebrations with family or a small group of friends, and larger birthday parties where the whole gang can fit in. The venue is located at Benalmádena Marina, just a few minutes from Málaga city and much of the Costa del Sol.

Where are we located?
We are at Benalmádena Marina, one of the most beautiful marinas in the Mediterranean and the starting point for all our sailing experiences.
How to get there?
Getting to Benalmádena Marina is very easy from anywhere on the Costa del Sol:
🚆 Benalmádena railway station (Cercanías) — Just a 10-minute walk away. The C-1 line runs directly from Málaga city centre and from Fuengirola, with frequent services throughout the day.
🚌 Costa del Sol bus stop — Less than a 5-minute walk away. Avanza buses run regular services to Málaga, Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Mijas.
🅿️ Puerto Marina car park — If you’re coming by car, the harbour has a large public car park right at the entrance, so you won’t need to hunt for a space.
